Guide

Hi, we’re the Kayak Safety Guys

We’re passionate anglers who believe that every great day on the water starts with coming home safe. That’s why we created KFAST — Kayak Fishing Advanced Safety Training — to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to handle whatever the water throws your way. From beginners to seasoned pros, our mission is simple: make safety second nature, so you can focus on the adventure. - Daren Wendell & Chad Hoover

Take the No Wear, No Share Pledge

By taking this pledge, you are joining a community that promotes one thing above all else: SAFETY! Wearing your PFD (personal flotation device) every time you’re on the water is the greatest way to serve as an Ambassador for being safe on the water. That means:

No Share – You will not share or promote content from anglers who are not wearing their PFD.

Share the Water – While on the water, take the opportunity to encourage and educate fellow anglers about the importance of always wearing a PFD. Even if not required by local, state, or federal law, emphasize that wearing a PFD is the safest choice.

Be respectful and avoid arguments. Our goal is to inspire others to wear a PFD by leading with encouragement, not by pushing people away.

**Let's Set The Example**

This pledge is about setting a higher standard together. By choosing to wear our PFDs and encouraging others to do the same, we build a culture where safety is celebrated and respected. When we stand united, we show the fishing community that protecting lives is more important than likes or shares. 👉 If they don’t wear it, we don’t share it.
